The Parent Teacher Association for your school
Who are we?
We are a group of parents who are involved in playing a crucial role in making sure our children have a primary school experience they can treasure forever. Yes we are here to try and fundraise for the school but we try to do this by having fun whilst enriching the school experience for all our pupils.
We organise many activities for children such as school discos, Christmas fayres, film nights and the summer “Birthday Bash” along with some fun things for the adults too like quiz nights, race nights and much more.
So far the money raised by the Friends has enabled us to purchase many resources for the school including:
Adventure play equipment, a gazebo, outdoor stage and projector, theatre performances held at school, books for the children, a celebratory year 6 meal and the sun canopies above all classes to name a few. The money we raise goes towards all different kinds of things but this year we are working towards funding a new bike shed and scooter area and playground storage for the playground toys and equipment. We need your help and support to achieve these goals.
You don’t have to be on the committee to get involved – any support you can offer will be welcome, so please join us now and discover what exciting plans are coming up in the term ahead! We have a suggestion box in reception should you wish to give feedback, make a suggestion or just get in touch with a member of the PTA.
We have several ways of helping from home, shopping through:
www.easyfundraising .org is the simplest way to raise money for the school without doing anything extra. Simply join yourself to our community page and start shopping – as the name suggests its easy fundraising.
